launched a program in Polonnaruwa to plant kumbuk and bee trees on both sides of the Kadurwela road, and yesterday alone we donated nearly two thousand plants for the enrichment of Mother Lanka

Especially through this task that I continue to do every year, more than one hundred thousand saplings have been donated to Mother Nature in Polonnaruwa district alone. Furthermore, it must be said that this project will bring 100% results because we are taking care of these plants by ourselves.

Simultaneously, distribution of dry food parcels including sanitary items required by three hundred expectant mothers living in Polonnaruwa district was also carried out at Polonnaruwa White Temple Hotel premises.
